OUR MISSION
As a congregation worshipping God: we seek to reach out with the love of Jesus; to worship God in our daily lives; to draw others into the knowledge and love of Christ; and to make disciples.
WHAT WE DO
Petersfield and Liss United Reformed Church exists as a dynamic and diverse community of Christians, right in the heart of a historic market town. Together we have a desire to share life together, grow in knowledge and understanding of the gospel, worship God in all areas of life and introduce people to the person of Jesus.
We belong to the wider United Reformed Church denomination, within the Wessex Synod and are passionate about being transformed by the Holy Spirit to live lives that honour and serve God. Across all ages, we desire to learn more about God by reading and exploring the Bible together.
OUR COMMUNITY
We warmly welcome all who seek to love the Lord Jesus. Together with the regular varied Sunday worship and children’s church activity, we have a variety of faith groups including prayer group, ladies bible study, and three home groups. Our social activity include a ladies handicraft group and a weekly children’s playgroup.
As well as the main sanctuary at Petersfield, we have the Church Family Centre, with three areas for meeting, a baptistery for full immersion, a fully functioning kitchen and dedicated church office.
At Liss we have a smaller, more flexible worship space along with a good size hall and kitchenette.
