Connie’s Handicraft Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month (except August) from 2–4pm in the Church Family Centre. Knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, patchwork and card making are enjoyed as part of Connie’s handicraft group. We share and learn together; an opportunity to meet new people and participate in projects giving to those in the local community and overseas.

Many knitted items are made – woollen hats, scarves, mittens, children’s and babies jumpers and cardigans together with other gift items – soft toys, aprons, bags, bookmarks and handmade cards. Much of the work is done at home between meetings.

Donations received for these items support a Christian Charity. Knitted and crocheted knee blankets are donated to the local hospital. During the afternoon we enjoy tea, cake and chat. New members are always welcome to come along.
